Dear Friend of the Valley of the Moon Eco Demonstration Project,
The Valley of the Moon Eco Demonstration Project, created by the Natural Solutions Foundation, an international NGO, www.GlobalHealthFreedom.org, is moving along well. Our Phase I and II programs are developing toward sustainability and we are beginning to develop our education program to go along with our magnificent BeyondOrganic(TM) restaurant and our natural health service. The Clinical Trials program is moving forward too. All of these programs and joint ventures will benefit the members of the project who hold Beneficial Interest Certificates or BICs.

Today we had a meeting in which we appointed a Director and an Administrator for our Cultural Arts program. On December 11 we will host GALA-LUNA, our First Annual Arts and Cultural Festival, at which we will announce our class schedule for music and dance. [My personal favorites are the Argentine Tango classes and the Finger Style Guitar lessons!]
We are producing outstanding food, going through the [very burdensome] registration process for our brand, getting the necessary licenses, etc., etc. We have, of course, complied with all legal requirements although generally speaking these seem to be more honored in the breech than in the observance. Why? Squeaky clean is not clean enough when you are building a leading edge, paradigm shifting project like this.
Phase I and Phase II, as defined in our Executive Summary, www.NaturalSolutionsFoundation.org, are designed to create viable teaching and service programs and products which will engage with the community, further our goals and generate income (known as “interest”) for the BIC holders, securing their money and building toward our collective goals at the same time. The viable businesses we are building at the
Natural Solutions Center in Volcan are part of the sustainability of the community we seek to build.
We have 13 full BIC holders participating the the community. There are approximately 7 people who have expressed deep interest in moving forward with BICs, too. We anticipate offering participation opportunities to no more than 25 full BIC holders.
That leaves space for approximately 5 new BIC holders.
All partial BIC holders are guaranteed a buildable lot when their BIC is fully funded and becomes a full BIC, so the number of partial BIC participants must, of course, be strictly limited. A partial BIC participation may be held for a minimum contribution of $50K. A full BIC participation is $75K. We are allowing a limited number of “duplex” BICs where two half-BIC holders would share the right to build a duplex dwelling (with one BIC vote in the community).
BICs may be funded with donations, cash, IRAs and 401 funds, precious metals, trust funds, church retirement accounts, etc. No first-borns accepted, since we are now full up with first-born children!
Only full BIC holders may select buildable lots which are selected in the order in which the BICs were completely funded.
Finally, BICs carry with them four rights and an opportunity:
1. Right to interest at least at prime rate of Banco de Panama
2. Right to build, own and transfer your own home on trust land
3. Right to purchase goods and services from community enterprises at co-op prices
4. Right to participate in community governance.
And the opportunity to develop a community enterprise as a Joint Venture with the Foundation.
Where are we now?
We are looking at wonderful land which would allow us to –
1. Put our farm and farm school in immediately
2. Put in the first phase of the infrastructure at the same time
3. Construct the first buildings, where some could live while we create dwellings
4. Carry out our joint ventures
5. Work with the larger community
6. Support ourselves financially through our ventures, education and food system, medical services, etc.
7. Develop our local currency.

A couple of days before the election, speaking at the University of Indiana, Dr. Ron Paul said, “I don’t think the FDA protects us; I think the FDA exists for the drug companies. During this Lame Duck period, the corporatists will seek to pass the fake “food safety” bills, S.510 and S.3767 which seek to nationalize all food regulation and to restrict, control and ultimately prohibit all natural, independent, local, community and family farm operations in favor of the worst of the Bigs: BigAgBiz, Big Chema and Big Pharma (which are really all part of the same failed bankster unfreemarket).
They will try to destroy our ability to decide whether we want to grow, buy or eat clean food. Our health, and our freedom, will be, literally, dead ducks.
The Lame Duck Senate led by Harry Reid is poised to force these Food Fascism Bills through the Congress when the Senate comes back into session on November 15th. We the People need to teach Harry another lesson and STOP THE FAKE FOOD SAFETY BILLS!

“After the midterm GOP sweep of the House of Representatives, soon-to-be chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) said food safety will be among the priorities for his committee… Issa has certainly not been the only member of Congress raising flags about the food safety system, but in his new position he will be uniquely positioned to look at food safety in a more systemic way, if indeed he is serious about doing so… The House Agriculture committee will look quite different next year–over half of the 28 Democrats currently serving on the committee were shown the door by voters on Tuesday. Rep. Frank Lucas (R-OK) is expected to run the committee next year. Tashi Dhondup is languishing in a forced labor camp for his pro-Tibetan music.
Dhondup was arrested following the 2009 release of a CD containing lyrics calling for the Dalai Lama’s return to Tibet and lamenting that “There is no freedom in Tibet.” He was denied a fair trial, because in China, police have the option of sending cases to a “re-education through labor” committee, which can send defendants to labor camps for up to three years without any judicial oversight and without the defendant having any right to hire a lawyer. All people have a human right to freedom of expression, and no one should be jailed or imprisoned without recourse to a fair trial.

A Long, Hard Ride Down: A New Breed of Rough Riders?

“The breakdown of the monetary system will be chaotic. When inflation commences, it will be highly disruptive. The damage to fixed-income assets will seem instantaneous. Foreign-exchange markets will become dysfunctional. The economy will become even more fragile and unpredictable,” writes John Hathaway for Bloomberg.
“The present fiat currency system will end based on the strategy of Debase, Default and Deny! It is my opinion that it will be replaced by a system structured on the IMF and BIS’s Strategic Drawing Rights (SDRs) partially backed by precious metals. The question to be asked however is not what will be the replacement for fiat currency, but who will have ownership of the assets after this war ends? Who will pay the requisite ‘tribute’ that goes to the victors?” writes Gordon T Long.
Dollar issuance by the United States is “out of control,” leading to an inflation assault on China, the Chinese commerce minister said in comments reported at the end of October. Chen Deming, speaking at a trade fair in southern China, said, “Because the United States’ issuance of dollars is out of control and international commodity prices are continuing to rise, China is being attacked by imported inflation. The uncertainties of this are causing firms big problems.”
Richard Mills writes, “Socio-economic turmoil – lawlessness, poverty, lack of adequate medical facilities and attention, low to no employment, low wages, disease, no clean drinking water or water for irrigation, and shortages of food or unaffordable food can all cause socio-economic pressure to build in many countries that were once stable environments for investment.”
Mills also writes, “As a general rule, the most successful man in life is the man who has the best information.” The best information is truthful information, which is unfortunately not available through the mainstream press any longer. In a rapidly changing world the best most truthful information becomes even more crucial, for one false step can present doom to us and our families. It is when we understand what and why things are happening that we gain the power to avoid catastrophe.
Modern Medicine is a Sitting Duck
Drs. Bednarz, Crawford, and Wood write,“While the hour is late, it still makes sense for leaders in medicine, public health, and nursing to speak up about what our civilization faces and what we can do about it. We doubt this will occur, for reasons everyone who has ever worked in an organization in hopes of advancing their careers understands. It is possible that a rare leader will step forward – probably someone at the end of his or her career – and tell the populace that growth is over and sustainability is here. It will hurt and the powerful will attempt to cut their losses at the expense of the less powerful and powerless.”
These professionals think it’s obvious that “American society is arrantly unsustainable – ecologically, fiscally, economically, politically, and ethically. Succinctly, the world is reaching the physical limits to economic growth.” This means that the entire economic and financial model of the world is going to change dramatically. It’s going to be a different world with higher prices and less money and food for the masses.

There will also be much less money to support a multi-trillion-dollar health and medical system in the United States. Contemporary medicine will eventually be chopped down to a more appropriate size, which means all the lies and deceit of the pharmaceutical companies, the FDA, AMA, APA, CDC, WHO, and others will have to end simply because people will not be able to afford high-cost medicine or the damages and side affects they instigate.
Incredibly we have Dr. Matthias Rath running a full-page add in the New York Times shouting out warnings about the Fourth Reich and the attempts of elite pharmaceutical and petrochemical interests. I have no idea why he is singling out the Tea Party Movement for obliteration while defending Obama and his program. No matter which way you turn politically in America, we find the same controlling interests and the takeover has been accomplished at least in the field of vaccines where we find 90 percent of humanity already enslaved. But no doubt patriots will sooner or later turn out for a fight and then it will be every man and family and small group for themselves. Big ugly government is having its day and there are political monsters on the loose and the last thing they want to be known as is “has-beens.”

There is no doubt that Dr. Rath has had his fingers on the pulses of these madmen and we do know where they all came from. I don’t particularly go for his American politics but he is realistic with European ones and the European Union and he is dead on with oil and pharmaceutical terrorism. Don’t know why he leaves out the bankers and chemical monoliths though and all their representatives in the Obama administration. And if reform/revolution is not going to come from the grass roots where is it going to come from, Obama? If anyone deserves the crown of being an agent for the unspeakable we have one in him. Under his watch they certainly sprayed enough toxic dispersants over the gulf and now we are even hearing reports of people’s esophagus melting down. Betrayal of the American people is what is being served up with men, women and children replacing turkeys on the silver platter.

As sure as the people will resist, the state will repress with police, the military, and the ‘Homeland Security State’ apparatus of surveillance and control. Make no mistake: this is the ‘Thirdworldization’ of the West: the ‘Post-Industrial Revolution’.”
It’s going to be a hard ride down and the amount of paper wealth that’s going to be lost is stupendous. No one really knows the future but we can see the intentions of certain people and groups. One of the greatest books I have ever read was called The Rise of the Phoenix by Christopher Hills but it certainly was not about the rise of a central currency and one world government. Each of us has to incorporate the destruction in our spirits, transforming disturbing energies and experiences into growth and new inner wisdom. A new breed of rough riders we will need to be, tough in spirit and determined to do and be our best for our families and loved ones.

All this month we will be celebrating our Panamanian hosts’ National Holidays. In order to allow our wonderful staff the time and opportunity to attend local events and spend time with their families, for the month of November we’ll be opening at 11 AM instead of 9. 5 Element Intensive Seminar: January 10-14, 2010
The Chinese 5 Elements Theory offers information and action options for food, health, organ systems and
their diseases, sound, colors, tastes and energy.
Our focus will be on what you can do yourself, using the rich 5 Elements Theory to create health and healing practices for yourself.
The 5 Elements are related by their characteristics and their interactions and form the basis for Traditional Oriental Medicine, Qi Gong, acupuncture, etc.
Come spend a week learning about the 5 Elements, eating DELICIOUS 5 elements food (all BeyondOrganic, of course!) which you’ll learn to prepare and use for health in our teaching kitchen every morning, learn the 5 Elements diagnostic and treatment systems for conditions and diseases, explore sound and color as part of health and healing, understand the basis of Fung Shui and much, much more!
Each of the five days of the Intensive Week will be devoted to a different Element
We’ll explore its color, sound, organs, foods, etc. each day. In fact, you’ll learn how to make your own non-toxic paints using milk and natural toxins so you can create (and teach) the 5 Elements colors that are right for YOU.
All meals will be provided at the Valley of the Moon Restaurant and Cafe and will be, of course, BeyondOrganic. Each day’s meals will focus on a different element’s food, flavor, impact, etc.

The 5 Element Intensive starts with an optional 5 Elements Welcome Banquet on Sunday night, January 9, 2011 at the Valley of the Moon Restaurant. Our BeyondOrganic(TM) 5 Elements Feast will be served for Seminar participants and others on a space limited basis on Sunday evening, January 9, 2011 at 6:30 PM. January 10-14, 2011. Every day will begin with a 5 Elements BeyondOrganic breakfast and discussion beginning our focus on that day’s element.
After breakfast, we’ll move to the teaching kitchen for a practical lesson during which we’ll prepare part of the food for the day, focusing on the curative and preventive properties of the foods and herbs. If you are interested in attending the cooking portion of the course only, you may do so on a strictly space-limited basis.
Seminar participants will take a break for a 5 Elements snack in keeping with our day’s theme, then experiential or lecture sessions will take us to lunch.
Of course, that’s part of the day’s lesson, too, as our food takes us deeper into the 5 Elements experience. We’ll take a bit of time off, then back to our Intensive afternoon program, complete with 5 Elements snack and dinner.
Each evening after dinner we’ll be looking at sleep management from a 5 Elements point of view. So from 7:30 to 9 PM each evening we will use sound, movement, breathing and other techniques to learn how to invite and maintain good sleep every night, night after night. For those people not taking the full Seminar, attendance at the evening program, Welcoming Sleep the 5 Elements Way, is possible on a space-limited basis. The 4 lecture series is available for a Tuition of $60. Registration is for the full 4 session series only.
