Health Freedom is gaining new allies. Earlier this week Dr. Rima and I had some preliminary meetings with The City of Knowledge Foundation in Panama, seeking additional support for the International Decade of Nutrition’s Valley of the Moon Eco Demonstration Project. In about 2 weeks we are being flown to Europe for a very special presentation that must remain quiet for now… We’ll be posting YouTube videos from that event, however, so check our YouTube channel often: http://youtube.com/naturalsolutions.
You see, Europe is already in the process of losing most of its supplements and all of its high potency ones. We in the US still enjoy access to them, but the FDA is gearing up to bring us into “HARMonziation” with the Codex Vitamin and Mineral Guideline just like Europe where the European Food Supplements Directive will make advanced health through high potency, varied nutritional supplements a criminal activity.
Natural treatments of all sorts are being seriously restricted there and the EU’s 27 countries met secretly not long ago to force GMO “franken foods” on a strongly unwilling population despite laws and objections. It’s a case of “follow the money – and you’ll find the genocidalists along with the bankers!” But Europe is waking up and Dr. Rima and I are making this trip to help that happen. We’ll keep you posted, of course.
After that, we’ll be filming some documentary footage and doing interviews and, I am happy to tell you, sneaking away for a few days of very, very much needed R&R. We’ll keep you posted on that, too.

It’s pretty ho-hum no-news that the FDA is failing miserably at every aspect of its mandate.
~Mercury in high fructose corn syrup (which is usually made from genetically modified “Franken Corn” ~MSG, a known neurological and pancreatic poison (of the excitotoxin class) in vaccines, kids food (and adults food, too) ~Melamine OK in baby’s formulas and the general food supply despite the fact that it can be lethal to babies and there was no safe level until the FDA unscientifically declared that there was ~Irradiated just-about-everything-including-salad-greens ~Antibiotics so widely used that antibiotic resistant (“flesh eating” staph shows up in pork and other foods, industrially genetically modified plants growing next to natural ones and contaminating them forever, ~Salmonella laced peanut butter ~Down graded organic foods to make Big Agribiz as happy as Big Pharma ~Conflicts of interest so blatant that the government no longer tries to deal wth them, ~Cattle producers forbidden to test their cattle for “mad cow” disease because they might find it, ~Sweeteners that can cause blindness, MS and brain damage, ~Acrylamide in snack foods, ~Dangerous unlabeled GMOs passed off as “equivalent” so consumers won’t ask, don’t know, ~Veterinary drugs and pesticides permitted in food despite known hazards, ~Viruses sprayed on foods, ~Cloned meat and milk, and on and on and on.
Thanks to the FDA, the “Fraud and Death Agency”, and the USDA, the “” agency, the US diet is not life sustaining: it is disease and death inducing. Our diet, thanks to these agencies, is literally killing us. Why? Because the regulators work for, and owe their allegiance – and their financial well-being, to the regulated industries.
Enough!
Congressional report after Congressional report, Hearing after Hearing makes it clear that the agencies charged with protecting our food can no more do that than the EPA can clean up and protect our environment. Again and again Congress affirms that the agencies have failed and then “solves” the problem by acting like the lunatic who, unsuccessful at a problem, does the same thing again, making the problem worse, not better.
Enough!
Congress take note: throwing money at the FDA and USDA and giving them more authority does not solve the problem. We have 80 years of proof that this strategy just makes things worse.
Enough!
Yes, the only answer is to take food regulatory authority away from these death dealing agencies and give it back to the States where popular pressure and control is far more meaningful. How to do that? By the same kind of pressure that made Congress do a 180º reversal of direction in 1994. Instead of voting to ban all nutrients (are you noticing a pattern here?) they responded to the millions of letters from Americans from all walks of life and passed legislation treating nutrients as foods which, as such, should not be regulated as if they were drugs. That legislation is called the Dietary Supplements Health and Education Act (DSHEA) and public pressure in its favor is the ONLY reason that we have access to dietary supplements at all.
The lesson is clear. It is public pressure, like the 2×4 the apocryphal farmer used to get the mule’s attention, which drives enlightened public policy, NOT politicians and certainly not the lobbyists they routinely bow to.
The FDA does a poor enough job “regulating” dangerous and deadly drugs. There is no way an agency so pervasively corrupt and inept can change its ways and suddenly become the custodian of health and healthy foods when those very foods are the chief economic competitor of the drugs whose approval supplies the lion’s share of the operating budget of the FDA through “Users Fees”. The conflict of interest is so monumental that it fairly takes your breath away.
Enough!
Drugs are not the very core of life. Food is.
During 2009, the Natural Solutions Foundation will be creating and pursuing a campaign to take back our food from the inept and corrupt hands of the US Government (which also means getting the FDA and USDA out of Codex, by the way). The multiple ways Monsanto is putting normal seeds out of reach

People say if farmers don’t want problems from Monsanto, just don’t
buy their GMO seeds.
Not so simple. Where are farmers supposed to get normal seed these
days? How are they supposed to avoid contamination of their fields
from GM-crops? How are they supposed to stop Monsanto detectives from trespassing or Monsanto from using helicopters to fly over spying on them?
Monsanto contaminates the fields, trespasses onto the land taking
samples and if they find any GMO plants growing there (or say they
have), they then sue, saying they own the crop. It’s a way to make
money since farmers can’t fight back and court and they settle because they have no choice.
And they have done and are doing a bucket load of things to keep
farmers and everyone else from having any access at all to buying,
collecting, and saving of NORMAL seeds.
1. They’ve bought up the seed companies across the Midwest.
2. They’ve written Monsanto seed laws and gotten legislators to put
them through, that make cleaning, collecting and storing of seeds so
onerous in terms of fees and paperwork and testing and tracking every
variety and being subject to fines, that having normal seed becomes
almost impossible (an NAIS approach to wiping out normal seeds). Does your state have such a seed law? Before they existed, farmers just collected the seeds and put them in sacks in the shed and used them the next year, sharing whatever they wished with friends and
neighbors, selling some if they wanted. That’s been killed.
In Illinois which has such a seed law, Madigan, the Speaker of the
House, his staff is Monsanto lobbyists.
3. Monsanto is pushing anti-democracy laws (Vilsack’s brainchild,
actually) that remove community’ control over their own counties so
farmers and citizens can’t block the planting of GMO crops even if
they can contaminate other crops. So if you don’t want a GM-crop that grows industrial chemicals or drugs or a rice growing with human DNA in it, in your area and mixing with your crops, tough luck.
Check the map of just where the Monsanto/Vilsack laws are and see if
your state is still a democracy or is Monsanto’s. A farmer in Illinois
told me he heard that Bush had pushed through some regulation that
made this true in every state. People need to check on that.
4. For sure there are Monsanto regulations buried in the FDA right now
that make a farmer’s seed cleaning equipment illegal (another way to
leave nothing but GM-seeds) because it’s now considered a “source of
seed contamination.” Farmer can still seed clean but the equipment now has to be certified and a farmer said it would require a million to a
million and half dollar building and equipment … for EACH line of
seed. Seed storage facilities are also listed (another million?) and
harvesting and transport equipment. And manure. Something that can
contaminate seed. Notice that chemical fertilizers and pesticides are
not mentioned.
You could eat manure and be okay (a little grossed out but okay). Try
that with pesticides and fertilizers. Indian farmers have. Their top
choice for how to commit suicide to escape the debt they have been
left in is to drink Monsanto pesticides.
5. Monsanto is picking off seed cleaners across the Midwest. In Pilot
Grove, Missouri , in Indiana (Maurice Parr ), and now in southern
Illinois (Steve Hixon). And they are using US marshals and state
troopers and county police to show up in three cars to serve the poor
farmers who had used Hixon as their seed cleaner, telling them that he
or their neighbors turned them in, so across that 6 county areas, no
one talking to neighbors and people are living in fear and those
farming communities are falling apart from the suspicion Monsanto
sowed. Hixon’s office got broken into and he thinks someone put a
GPS tracking device on his equipment and that’s how Monsanto found
between 200-400 customers in very scattered and remote areas, and
threatened them all and destroyed his business within 2 days.
So, after demanding that seed cleaners somehow be able to tell one
seed from another (or be sued to kingdom come) or corrupting
legislatures to put in laws about labeling of seeds that are so
onerous no one can cope with them, what is Monsanto’s attitude about labeling their own stuff? You guessed it – they’re out there pushing laws against ANY labeling of their own GM-food and animals and of any exports to other countries. Why?
We know and they know why.
As Norman Braksick, the president of Asgrow Seed Co. (now owned by
Monsanto) predicted in the Kansas City Star (3/7/94) seven years ago, “If you put a label on a genetically engineered food, you might as
well put a skull and crossbones on it.”
And they’ve sued dairy farmers for telling the truth about their milk
being rBGH-free, though rBGH is associated with an increased risk of
breast, colon and prostate cancers.
I just heard that some seed dealers urge farmers to buy the seed under the seed dealer’s name, telling the farmers it helps the dealer get a discount on seed to buy a lot under their own name. Then Monsanto sues the poor farmer for buying their seed without a contract and extorts huge sums from them.
Here’s a youtube video that is worth your time. Vandana Shiva is one
of the leading anti-Monsanto people in the world. In this video, she
says (and this video is old), Monsanto had sued 1500 farmers whose
fields had simply been contaminated by GM-crops. Listen to all the
ways Monsanto goes after farmers.
Do you know the story of Gandhi in India and how the British had salt
laws that taxed salt? The British claimed it as theirs. Gandhi had
what was called a Salt Satyagraha, in which people were asked to break the laws and march to the sea and collect the salt without paying the British. A kind of Boston tea party, I guess.
Thousands of people marched 240 miles to the ocean where the British
were waiting. As people moved forward to collect the salt, the British
soldiers clubbed them but the people kept coming. The non-violent
protest exposed the British behavior which was so revolting to the
world that it helped end British control in India.
Vandana Shiva has started a Seed Satyagraha – nonviolent
non-cooperation around seed laws – has gotten millions of farmers to
sign a pledge to break those laws.
American farmers and cattlemen might appreciate what Gandhi fought for and what Shiva is bringing back and how much it is about what we are all so angry about – loss of basic freedoms.
The Seed Satyagraha is the name for the nonviolent, noncooperative
movement that Dr. Shiva has organized to stand against seed
monopolies. According to Dr. Shiva, the name was inspired by Gandhi’s
famous walk to the Dandi Beach, where he picked up salt and said,
“You can’t monopolize this which we need for life.” But it’s not just the
noncooperation aspect of the movement that is influenced by Gandhi.
The creative side saving seeds, trading seeds, farming without
corporate dependence-–without their chemicals, without their seed.
“All this is talked about in the language that Gandhi left us as a
legacy. We work with three key concepts.”
“(One) Swadeshi…which means the capacity to do your own
thing–produce your own food, produce your own goods….”
“(Two) Swaraj–to govern yourself. And we fight on three
fronts-–water, food, and seed. JalSwaraj is water independence–water freedom and water sovereignty. Anna Swaraj is food freedom, food sovereignty. And Bija Swaraj is seed freedom and seed sovereignty. Swa means self–that which rises from the self and is very, very much a deep notion of freedom.
“I believe that these concepts, which are deep, deep, deep in Indian
civilization, Gandhi resurrected them to fight for freedom. They are
very important for today’s world because so far what we’ve had is
centralized state rule, giving way now to centralized corporate
control, and we need a third alternate. That third alternate is, in
part, citizens being able to tell their state, ‘This is what your
function is. This is what your obligations are,’ and being able to
have their states act on corporations to say, ‘This is something you
cannot do.'”
“(Three) Satyagraha, non-cooperation, basically saying, ‘We will do
our thing and any law that tries to say that (our freedom) is illegal…
we will have to not cooperate with it. We will defend our freedoms to
have access to water, access to seed, access to food, access to
medicine.'”

This detailed posting gives yet another example of why the FDA must be divested of its food authority before its mismanagement causes even more harm. The Federal Govt’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy regarding GMO (genetically modified organisms) creates conditions for a mega-disaster of unknown severity.

Plant Based Vaccines Under Development World Wide
Once genetic material migrates from a modified plant or animal into other plants, animals, insect, or what have you, that migration is permanent except for one thing: the DNA is not stable so it literally “jumps around” causing novel proteins to be expressed.

Read that as “infertility”, “sterility”, “cancers”, “auto-immune diseases”, “Joint and connective tissue diseases”, “neurological diseases”, “fetal death”, “failure to thrive”, “infant mortality”, etc. Babies in utero are particularly susceptible to the impact of these “novel proteins”, but no one is immune.
Worse, the genes have no stable place to reside in the DNA of whatever cell they are working in this week so they move from place to place to place inside the nucleus of the cell, causing the resident genes to change their functions and produce yet more novel proteins.
Now ask yourself what happens if vaccine-producing plants (or industrial-product producing plants – the issue is identical) mingle their pollen with the plants that produce your food and the food of the animals of this planet. The USDA has reduced the already close-to-non-existent controls on industrial plant growth next to, and contaminating, food plants. For example, for 5 years Bayer’s Crop Science vaccine rice was growing next to, and contaminating, food rice in Louisiana. Bayer knew about it (perhaps the USDA did, too – we do not have that information) and said nothing.
When the contamination was discovered, Bayer was not fined or sanctioned by the US Government and the contaminated rice was simply sold to the US Military for its troops in Iraq (!!!). US Military labs detected the contamination and the rice was then sold to sub Saharan African countries like Ghana. There, in every rice market that was tested, the contaminated rice was found. Poor people, buying their daily food, were eating poisoned rice, courtesy of the Biotech Industry, Bayer Crop Science (from Beyer, the same corporation that knowingly sold HIV contaminated blood fractions in Europe when they could not sell them in the US) and the US Government. But if you are buying food, especially prepared food, in the US, you are in exactly the same position: poisoned “food”, lacking any notification or labeling of that poisonous status, is being sold to you as if it were wholesome and fit for human consumption because of the total failure of the US Government to protect your health or the integrity of the food supply from commercial – and worse – interests.
The Natural Solutions Foundation has created the International Decade of Nutrition, www.NaturalSolutionsFoundation.org, to reclaim the production of food. The US Government is on the other side: industry interests and conflicts of interest make the US Government, according to all assessments, including the US Congress’ most recent report on the subject, totally unable to resist industry pressure and totally unwilling to clean house in order to become a health promoting system. Indeed, FDA scientists have openly appealed to President Obama for help in allowing them to do their job: being science to the regulation of safety.
Reformation after reformation, new agency after new agency, staff shuffle after staff shuffle have failed to weaken industry and strengthen either science or sense in the government regulation of food. ENOUGH! Our lives and our children’s lives are at stake. The Natural Solutions Foundation is once again leading the way by identifying the problem and providing the natural solutions: the system is broken beyond repair. No amount of patchwork will repair it. It is time for the failed US Government to relinquish its failed mission of food safety and regulation to the smaller governmental units which are closer to the will of the people: State governments.
Remembering that NO science of safety is PERMITTED for genetically modified “foods” in the US, remembering that patents on GMOs are based on outdated and invalid scientific premises, remember that the US Supreme Court was packed beforehand in order to grant patent rights to Monsanto, and remembering that well over 80% of the US population would prefer not to eat GMO “food” although more than 90% of the American food stock is contaminated with GMO “food”, the following article should arouse a strong response.
The stunning disregard for science and safety shown by the US Government at the behest of the food-related industries is almost too large to take in at one gulp. Biotech “foods”, approved by the FDA, USDA and Codex, as they are, represent a major threat to health, indeed, to life on this planet.
None of the agencies tasked with responsiblity for food safety and food regulation in the United States are either capable or willing to provide meaningful safety or health-based regulation. After deadly decades, it has become clear that they cannot be reformed and that
1. The USDA must be dissolved
2. The FDA must have its food regulatory responsibility removed from it as environmental protection, consumer safety and narcotics and dangerous drug responsibility was removed from it to create separate government agencies
3. Another federal agency will not protect food and the health of the American people since conflict of interest and corruption run too deep.
4. Regulatory responsibility for food must be turned over to the States, consistent with their Constitutional mandates and rights so that the impact of the people, from whom regulatory authority comes, is far closer to the exercise of regulatory authority.

Norwich based scientists are heading up an international collaboration that aims to develop plant-based vaccines for some of the most devastating diseases to afflict the world’s livestock.
Avian flu, foot and mouth disease and blue tongue are just some of the diseases targeted under the EU-funded project, led by Prof George Lomonossoff of the John Innes Centre (JIC) in Norfolk and backed by further participation from teams in Russia and South Africa.
Using a new system that lowers the time required to conduct the experiments from months to weeks, plants will be stimulated into producing specific proteins, which can subsequently be assessed for their value as vaccines.
It is the time taken for production of these proteins that has been accelerated, which means that large-scale screening for candidate vaccines is now within reach.
The partners say they have now shown that plant-based vaccines production and assessment is possible, and safe.
Professor Konstantin Skryabin, coordinator of the Russian laboratories for the PLAPROVA (Plant Produced Vaccines) project, said the development of new techniques for expression of vaccine proteins in plants is a very important topic for Russia.
He said: “Russian scientists have already obtained promising results and international collaboration in this field will contribute to the success of plant-based systems.”
PLAPROVA will utilise transient expression techniques to temporarily stimulate plants into over-producing proteins, which can subsequently be assessed for their value as vaccines.
Though plants have been used to produce pharmaceuticals in this way before, technical constraints have prevented their value from being fully realised.
The group say a few candidates with proven vaccine ability have been produced and, although these proteins are effective at preventing disease, they have limited commercial use as they are in competition with existing conventional products. They have, however, shown that plant-based vaccines production and assessment is possible and safe.
Initially, the consortium will concentrate on diseases of importance to farming in both the EU and Russia, which includes avian influenza, blue tongue, foot and mouth disease and porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome.
Proteins identified through this screening programme will be developed for large-scale production and ultimately low-cost production of effective vaccines.
Overall project coordinator Prof Lomonossoff, said: “The consortium brings together the leading laboratories from the EU, Russia and South Africa working to produce useful proteins from plants, and this international cooperation is central to the success of the project in battling diseases that affect us all.”

Health Freedom is Our First Freedom
Health Freedom is the most basic freedom of all. It is the necessary condition upon which our ability to pursue Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness rests and is the precondition upon which all other rights rest. Yet Industry has forged a cozy relationship with US Policy and Regulatory Makers so that their rights, not ours, are being cared for while natural options are attacked.
Effective, inexpensive and safe natural cures exist in other countries for diseases that we suffer and die from needlessly because our Health Freedom is compromised. Emphasizing and supporting those natural strategies will reduce our health care costs significantly while increasing our health and wellness. Clean, unadulterated, clearly labeled food is attacked while dangerous, degraded food is permitted by food standards which make us the least healthy country in the developed world. Dangerous drugs and vaccines, sometimes on a mandatory basis, are supported while natural supplements, herbs and treatments are attacked.
Free men and women have control over what happens to their bodies and those of their children. Without that autonomy and control, our very bodies do not belong to us. Our Medical Records are no longer ours and if they are invaded, our doctors may not tell us that they have been searched or the information in them mined and sold unless they commit a felony offense.
Federal and State agencies knowingly allow our food, injections and drugs to be contaminated with dangerous or deadly substances/processed by techniques known to create disease, yet they permit that contamination at the request of the industries to which they are beholden. Personal and professional conflicts of interest are condoned and acknowledged inside government and academia. The consequences are unsafe food and drugs. Agency thugs, regulatory assault and cover-ups routinely attack safe and natural sources including health food stores, clinics and advanced practitioners.
Dangerous drugs and vaccines are routinely approved while manufacturers are protected from any type of liability no matter how many people they harm or kill, protected by both the Courts and Congress.
Because of commercial interests, FDA and other agencies intervene to curtail true and accurate information about natural health choices, increasingly forbid access to natural health options and brutally attack those who make such information, products and care available.
Clean, unadulterated food is the single most effective economic competitor to pharmaceutical medicine. US Policy permits adulteration and unhealthy food in every sector while it consistently degrades Organic standards to suit industry tastes.
Although more than 80% of us in the US distrust and want to avoid genetically modified foods (“GM”, “GMO” or “Franken Food”), US policy literally forbids labeling food for its GMO content. Silently, these unwholesome, bioengineered foods have entered more than 85% of the US food supply and are being permitted to genetically contaminate all other crops, including organic ones regardless of the dangers which are increasingly well documented.
International science shows that GMOs cause sterility and immune dysfunction: the US unscientifically prohibits any government review of testing, literally forcing Franken Foods down our throats while it declares that GMO foods are “substantially equivalent” to unmodified foods. Environmental degradation is permanent and cataclysmic.
US Policy permits up to 10% GMO contamination in so-called Organic food; international regulation permits no more than 1% GMO contamination.
Health Freedom means that all GMO food is labeled clearly and we can choose GMO-free food if we wish. It also means that scientific analysis of all GMO foods is rapidly undertaken during a 10-year period of total moratorium on all GMO crops or animals.
Health Freedom means that unhealthy and untested food processing procedures like spraying meats with viruses is forbidden or food so treated is clearly labeled.
Health Freedom means that consumers, scientists, nutritionists and environmental medicine specialists who have no conflicts of interest direct, oversee and assess food and health policy in the US.
Health Freedom means that all international health regulatory participation by the US is also under the control of consumers, scientists and physicians free of any conflicts of interest.
Health Freedom means that the corrupt and often deadly FDA is fully divested of its Food Regulatory Authority since its ability to regulate food is compromised by its financial conflicts of interest with the pharmaceutical, biotech and commercial agriculture industries.
Health Freedom means that neither you nor your children can be subjected to “Treatments”, drugs, chipping or injections to which you do not agree. Current US Federal and State laws permit forcible drugging, including injections, of both children and adults and must be changed to allow personal choice in keeping with well-established international principles such as the UN Declaration of Human Rights and the Helsinki Declaration.
Health Freedom means that your Constitutional First Amendment Rights to Free Speech are fully protected and that you are able to access science-based, true and accurate information about the health benefits of food, supplements, herbs, frequency/energy medicine and a host of other health strategies which compete with industry interests, but which might serve you very well.
Health Freedom means that you are free to seek out and receive services from health care practitioners of your own choice in the US who use treatments or strategies which you, and they, agree on in an open climate. It means that neither you nor they are subjected to government attack because the treatment they offer you is not pouring money into Big Pharma’s coffers.
Health Freedom means that you can purchase food, supplements, herbs, and health devices which are accurately labeled, free of dangers without government interference.
Health Freedom means that if drugs or devices harm you, you are free to seek appropriate redress since drug and vaccine companies are forced out from behind the protective screen which Congress, FDA/USDA/FTC/EPA, etc. and the Courts have set up to free them from all liability responsibility to you and your loved ones no matter what their products have done to you.
Health Freedom means that treatments and cures for diseases like cancer, arthritis, heart disease, and similar serious problems are easily and openly available so you do not need to travel to other countries for the treatments you want.
Health Freedom means that insurers recognize and pay for natural treatments and therapies of your choice, saving them, and you, enormous amounts of money if that is your choice.
Health Freedom means that the use of dangerous, ineffective, but profitable drugs and vaccines may be your choice, but cannot be forced upon you or your children under any circumstances.
Health Freedom means that you and your children cannot be denied access to education or other public resources if you do not agree to be medicated or vaccinated.

Health Freedom means that the protection offered to supplements and herbs under the 1994 Dietary Supplements Health and Education Act (DSHEA) which treats these products as foods must be enforced and extended to other health products.

I’m particularly excited about the potential for change we have in promoting health freedom with the New Administration and Congress this year. They have the opportunity to show that their rhetoric for change has substance: we will give them the format to work with.
It’s certainly going to be a year of legal changes, and we’re ready. I’m currently working on proposed legislation divesting the FDA of its food regulatory authority. This important bill, which we will present to our friends in Congress, will give them the language and information they need to bring our food out of the shadow of Big Pharma, Big Biotechna, Big Chema, Big Biotechna and Big Govt and into the light of healthy food production and regulation. Our goal is to have a bill introduced in the New Congress which will move us forward with the Natural Solutions Foundation’s 2009 Legislative Goal of Divesting the FDA of its Food Regulatory Authority.

But something strange happened on the way to this initial victory. We were the only Health Freedom organization to take advantage of the opportunity. On December 30, we asked you, along with all of your friends, to vote for Health Freedom at Change.org so that Health Freedom could be one of the 10 ideas presented on inauguration day to the new President.
You voted and got us into third place in a little over 24 hours. We went from 98th place to 3rd place, enough to get us into the second round. But something strange happened on the way to this initial victory. In the final hours of voting, leading up to midnight, December 31st, suddenly competing “Health Freedom pages” suddenly began showing up in the Health Care category. This flurry of December 31 page entries is unprecedented elsewhere on the Change.org system. For example, in Domestic Poverty, 45 Votes were recorded on Dec 31 @ 06:35AM PST for a single item. Interestingly, that item was the only December 31 entry in its category. Keep reading to find out why that flurry of “Health Freedom” pages is so significant!
Real Health Freedom advocates are activated and motivated: 10,644 people visited the page for which I asked you to vote by using our links. I suspect many of you were confused by the voting procedure – I know that I was and it took me some time to figure it out. Imagine what would have happened if we had all voted for a single idea: Health Freedom is our First Freedom! It would be far and away the winner in all categories.

The people who think that the most important thing is to defeat or damage the rest of the health freedom team so they get to be more important [or even worse motivations] are a serious problem to your health freedom. What happened at Change.org during this vote is a perfect example and we need to change it.
You probably know that there are irrational and irrelevant attacks on people in the health freedom movement – including us – by people with a variety of motivations. You also know that Natural Solutions Foundation does not attack anyone, ever. If anyone thinks that these attacks help anyone except the egos of the attackers and the other side, think again.
Here is a perfect example:
Our December 30 call blast asking you to go to www.Change.org and vote for Health Freedom as a major issue for the Obama Administration to consider was done with great seriousness. To get from where Health Freedom was at that point (98th place) to ranking in the first 3, we needed about 1200+ votes.
The Health Freedom page which we asked you to go to so you could vote had our organization listed as well as three others: we did not put up a page with only our organization because the issue is not us, it is Health Freedom for all of us. In other words, it’s about scoring a Health Freedom victory, not taking possession of territory. None the less, other people supposedly in the health freedom movement seem to have tried (but failed!) to stop YOU from claiming YOUR victory.
We garnered a total of 1804 votes in less than 24 hours, putting us in third place and putting us in the second round of voting. As soon as we started gaining traction, an astonishing additional 34 pages were posted with the phrase “Health Freedom” within hours of our eblast asking people to make Health Freedom a national priority. Now, it is possible that some people misunderstood the way the system worked and thought that by posting a Health Freedom page they were adding a vote. I know one of the posts by a friend of mine was surely an accident of that sort. But the “leaders” who posted those pages surely understood the process.
Consider this: there were a total of 140 votes for those “extra” 34 pages. One “leader” of the Health Freedom Movement posted her comments in 4 separate sections, each one of which got 5 votes. Why? Well, the result was that instead of being in second place, we came in third. It is hard not to conclude that the intent of those 34 pages was to drain off votes so that the issue went nowhere in the process.
Happily, you were active and committed enough to vote us into the final round and for that we thank you. But what sort of “leadership” is it to mobilize people for NEGATIVE benefit to the cause in which they claim to believe by such transparent misdirection?
The truth of the matter is that the other side — Big Pharma and its fellow “Bigs”: – Big Finance, Big Agra, Big Govt, etc., are well organized, huge, enormously well funded and very, very cleaver. They can certainly manipulate online efforts to seek to thwart us. But when our ostensible allies do it… For shame!
Can we really afford to behave this way any longer? Is this juvenile competitiveness worthy of us, is it the best we can do and can it win the Health Freedom War? The answer is clear.
Most people do not know or care about the attacks, counter attacks and foolishness of this behavior. They want their health and their freedom. But the so-called “leaders” who lead this way are leading them over a cliff.
OK. That’s over and what’s done is done. What’s next? The second round.
In a couple days we will be mounting a page on www.HealthFreedomUSA.org at which we will coordinate an all out campaign of support to reach first place nationally on Change.org. We hereby invite ALL of the Health Freedom groups to join us. If they do, we know which side they are probably on. If they do not, we know which side they are certainly on.
In other words, this is a Rubicon for Health Freedom. Just as when Caesar pronounced that the Romans crossing the River Rubicon would change Rome’s course forever, so this event created by Change.org, is a Rubicon for us.
Those who are willing to work together, drop their absurd territoriality and bickering, are welcome to join forces with you and with me. We are, after all, the single most powerful voice for health freedom in the world and your response over the New Year’s holiday proved that conclusively.
If others mount a divisive campaign, shame on them. If they mount a cooperative campaign, sunshine on them. If they continue to seek to divert our (and your) attention with irrational and even violence-implying attacks, we will rise above such pettiness and Keep Our Eyes on the Prize: Health Freedom.

A Word From Dr. Rima
Some time ago the Elders of the Hopi Nation (Oraibi, Arizona) issued a warning message to the world.
